January 13 {13/366}: The contents of my purse arranged neatly. I took this for a January photo challenge I’m doing on Instagram and I just really like how it turned out.

January 12 {12/366}: Kitten close-up! Sitting on my lap, stunting my productivity. As usual.

January 11 {11/366}: Because it gets dark too early to play frisbee, we’ve been having regular Wednesday game nights with J’s normal ultimate frisbee group. We introduced them to mexican train dominoes and now we play pretty much every time—love it.

January 9 {9/366}: Mom came to stay with us for the week while she was attending a conference at Salem College, so we made her our favorite veggie chili on her first night here.

January 8 {8/366}: Laughing with J, which is my favorite way to spend time.

January 7 {7/366}: The perfect Saturday morning. Woke up early and relaxed in bed for a while with coffee and a book (The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo) and a cat.

January 6 {6/366}: Tools of my trade. Orders started picking up after the new year and I’ve found myself with a backlog of Harry Potter notebooks waiting to be made.

January 5 {5/366}: Shoes on and out the door to run errands before we even had coffee. J’s resolution to wake up earlier has been paying off for both of us.

January 4 {4/366}: Playing Mexican train dominoes on game night at Julie’s house.

January 3 {3/366}: First cup of coffee made with the Keurig my brother and sister-in-law gave us for Christmas.
